Compuware Uniface Technical Account Manager

You will provide high level technical account management and support of the North American Compuware Uniface Customer base. This support would range from all phases of development for leading edge client server applications, and incorporate management of complex client server scenarios. Strong UNIX skills combined with a solid understanding of relational databases are required. Sales Support (File and Data Management Products)

Primary responsibilities include assisting the sales staff for File and Data Management tools by performing technical presentations, demonstrations, and product training sessions in both pre-sales and post-sale activities. Products include the File-AID series running in a variety of environments including MVS/TSO, CICS, IMS, DB2, and Client/Server. Requires an average of 2-3 days per week travel to client destinations. Must have excellent interpersonal and verbal skills with some presentation and training experience. Must be willing and able to travel, be self-motivated, have a professional appearance and possess a strong technical background in MVS/JCL and COBOL applications. The successful applicant has been a COBOL programmer working in an IBM MVS/TSO environment using DB2, has some experience with IMS, and has used File-AID products.
